Do you have installed new flex cable with slide mechanism?
If that doesn't help, good solution then would be - gsm service because there is maybe board issue.

Hello,
I have a problem with my phone camera. Simply camera won't work. ? Day before worked fine and now this. I've tried most things, I've reinstalled software 3 times, i've formatted the memory as well before reinstalling the software. When I press the camera button the screen briefly changes then returns to the main menu.
Any ideas ?

You probably need new camera module.

You need something like this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NOKIA-N95-MAIN-PCB-BOARD-NOT-TESTED-5MEG-CAMERA-/360257404382?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_MobilePhones_MobilePhones&hash=item53e103bdde

...or maybe you need a new flex ribbon cable for camera
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FLEX-RIBBON-CABLE-CAMERA-KEYPAD-PCB-NOKIA-N95-8GB-/380205585348?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Mobiles_Accessories_RL&hash=item588604d3c4

I think best solution would be gsm service, they will make a diagnosis.
